COVID-19 and How To Keep Safe

Dear parents and guardians,

I hope you are all well and keeping healthy and safe during these times.

As the CoVid- 19 virus is rapidly evolving every day and our living situation is also constantly changing, I wanted to write to offer advice in regards to keeping safe and healthy.

It is vital to stay up-date with current CoVid-19 advice and information so please follow the link https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus. Also on this website, if you are feeling unsure about your symptoms there is also a self-assessment tool that will help you better understand the risk based on your personal circumstances, link: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus-self-assessment

Please call the Co-Vid 19 hotline on 1800-675-398, if you suspect you may have the CoVid-19 virus, which is open 24/7. Please call 000 for emergencies only.

If you have any questions or any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via kerstin@aia.vic.edu.au. This is my designated e-mail that is open to all parents and students during this time.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to continue practicing measures to help reduce to risk of transmission. What can you do to reduce risk?

  • Stay at home if you feel sick.

  • Call your GP or coronavirus hotline 1800 675 398 if you need medical attention. They will tell you what to do.

  • Continue healthy habits: exercise, drink water, get plenty of sleep and keep up with safe hand hygiene and coughing etiquette.

Take care and kind regards,

Kerstin Villanueva
